SiberSafe Definer, a Product Lifecycle Knowledge Management System that helps develop, accumulate, share, relate, trace and navigate product knowledge through all product lifecycle stages in a collaborative wiki-like environment.

Standards support

SiberLogic takes standards seriously. SiberSafe Definer protects and leverages each organization's investment in its product knowledge by generating only open, industry-standard information formats. For example:

XML: eXtensible Markup Language To future-proof your investment, all our products are built around the vendor-neutral W3C XML format. This ensures that you are not locked into any proprietary data format and can migrate to an alternative system at any time. All documentation generated by SiberSafe Definer is output and managed as XML.
RDF: Resource Description Framework SiberLogic's unique modeling technology, used to create and manage your product knowledge, is based on the W3C semantic web standards OWL and RDF. This means that all stored product information can be easily imported into and exported from existing Feature Tracking, Requirements Management and Logistics Support Analysis systems
OWL: Web Ontology Language
